Couleecap Provides Energy Assistance
Beginning October 1st in Crawford County
HE+ Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP)
WHEAP gives a one-time payment to help with heating costs between October 1 and May 15.
This payment pays for part of your energy bill, but not the whole thing. The amount you get depends on your household size, income, and energy costs. The payment goes straight to your energy company.
Homeowners and renters can get help for homes heated with wood, propane, natural gas, electricity, or fuel oil.
